Every big idea often begins with a small, everyday struggle. For us, it all started with a birthday.

When Sneha Choradia, a mother of two and a software engineer, set out to organize her son’s birthday, she wanted it to be perfect — full of color, joy, and surprises that he would remember for years. But what should have been a simple and happy task quickly turned into a challenge. Running around to multiple shops, trying to find the right decorations, picking thoughtful return gifts, and pulling it all together on her own as part of a small nuclear family was exhausting. The day was supposed to be magical, but the effort and stress behind the scenes made her wonder: Why can’t celebrating be simpler?

At the same time, Pratham Dugar, a graduate from Mumbai, had been thinking about how families — especially parents and children — often miss out on the joy of planning surprises because of the sheer workload involved. He imagined a way where anyone, from children surprising their parents to friends celebrating milestones together, could easily create meaningful experiences without the stress of endless planning.

When Sneha and Pratham shared their experiences and ideas, they realized they were chasing the same dream: to make celebrations easy, creative, and full of heart. That’s how Festylo was born — a startup built on the belief that every moment, no matter how big or small, deserves to be celebrated beautifully.

Our journey is not just about selling decoration kits. It’s about helping families laugh a little louder, friends bond a little stronger, and elders feel a little more special. From birthdays to homecomings, small achievements to festive shop decorations, or even a surprise kitty party for friends — we are here to make it all effortless.
